		New this year: Educational Seminars We recently sent out invitations to MSL 2011, which will mark the 20th anniversary of the annual Merkley Supply Limited trade show. MSL 2011 will be held on March 24, 2011 at the Hampton Inn Conference Centre. NEW AT MSL 2011: EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS For the first time, the MSL Show will feature educational seminars from exhibitors. Attend this seminar to learn about spray Polyurethane Foams available for air sealing residential and commercial building envelopes. - Corrosion Mitigation for Reinforcing Concrete Structures: by SIKA Canada & Vector Corrosion Technologies Together with Sika Canada, Vector Corrosion Technologies will provide expertise and resources to evaluate, design, install and monitor complex active corrosion protection and mitigation systems. The presentation will provide an overview of the corrosion process of steel embedded in concrete and how an active corrosion mitigation can prevent, slow down or completely stop the corrosion of the embedded steel in concrete. Particular focus will be on the use of discrete galvanic anodes for these purposes. - Air Water & Moisture Management in Commercial Buildings: by DuPont Review the physics of heat-air and moisture management and the role of water, air and vapor barriers in moisture-managed envelope design in this presentation by DuPont. - Sealer and Maintenance Decisions: by Realstone Systems This seminar will de-mystify the world of sealers by explaining what a sealer is, detailing its characteristics and exploring how it can help to maintain a number of surfaces. - Sustainable Design with Glass Block & Glass Block Systems: by Pittsburgh Corning Attend this seminar to learn how glass blocks are made and how glass blocks and new glass block technologies contribute to LEED points.
