 MSL 2011 - Save the Date! 
 2011 will mark the 20th anniversary of the annual Merkley Supply Limited trade show. MSL 2011 will be held on March 24, 2011 at the Hampton Inn Conference Centre. This will be your chance to view the latest masonry, interior design and landscaping products, learn about the newest "green" products and solutions, meet with your peers and colleagues and have your questions answered by knowledgeable manufacturer reps. New: Educational Seminars  For the first time, the MSL Show will feature educational seminars from exhibitors. These one-hour training seminars will take place in private rooms above the show floor and will let you receive product and topical education and training. Topics will cover: - New/important technical information (i.e. code changes, product tolerances) - Product installation and/or maintenance training - Educational information to help architects earn self-directed points MSL 2011 DETAILS Date: Thursday March 24th, 2011 Time: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Location: The Hampton Inn Conference Centre 100 Coventry Road, at the Vanier Parkway Be there on Thursday, March 24th at the Hampton Inn to interact with leading manufacturers, learn about the latest and hottest products, and to meet with old and new friends. The Brick Peddlers Ride the Rideau! ...................................................................................................  On September 11th staff (and friends) of Merkley Supply donned bright orange Brick Peddler jerseys and spandex shorts to bike 100 km and raise funds for cancer research at The Ottawa Hospital. Merkley Supply fielded the largest team in the inaugural Ride the Rideau fundraising event which was coordinated by The Ottawa Hospital Foundation. Our team raised an incredible $134,000 in support of the Centre for Innovative Cancer Research. Overall, the event raised more than $925,000 and the goal for next year’s ride is to double the number of heroes on two wheels. Our goal is to once again be the top fundraising team – and make the biggest impact in the fight against cancer!  Experience the ride through last year's video. Why Ride? Cancer is the leading cause of premature death in Canada and close to half of us will be diagnosed with some form of this disease in our lifetime. While this is a sobering statistic, the good news is that survivorship is on the rise. Why? In part because of innovative cancer research that is happening right here at The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.  Join today or sponsor us!
